OUR TECHNOLOGY
Our patented liquid-loading technology is unlike anything else in the industry. With it, our effervescent powders and tablets carry more active ingredients and are completely water soluble – creating more potent and precise solutions. Our technology, combined with decades of industry know-how, allows us to customize each product to address formulation, performance, environmental, or packaging/delivery challenges. Our commitment to being environmentally responsible means our products are safer and greener – a fact supported by our EPA/SDSI Champion status.
THE POWER OF OUR PATENTS
Chemlink has revolutionized liquid loading technology.
HOW IT WORKS
Our patented ESPC (Expanded Sodium PerCarbonate) carrier soaks up liquid cleaning ingredients like a sponge. ESPC enables us to load up to 40% liquid cleaning ingredients for tablets and up to 50% in a powder. Other powder products can only hold up to 10% liquid cleaning agents and even less if compressed into a tablet.
Unlike other technologies that will absorb large amounts of liquids like zeolites and silica gels, ESPC is effervescent and completely water-soluble ensuring residue-free cleaning and complete release of the liquid cleaning agents – providing a more consistent and potent performance, even under compression.
SDSI CHAMPION
Chemlink was one of the original formulators to have achieved the Safer Detergents Stewardship Initiative (SDSI) Champion status within the EPA’s Design for the Environment (DFE) Program.
Our Champion status reflects our commitment to formulating products that are safer for the environment. This commitment allows us to expedite our clients’ products’ certification and authorization to use the Design for the Environment logo on retail packaging.
